Use only what you're allowed to download

Dx helps you save media and files that you are authorized to access and download. You are responsible for respecting copyright, the terms of the websites you use and the law of your country.

Dx does not, and must not be used to:

• remove or work around DRM or other copy protection;
• bypass paywalls, logins, subscriptions or disabled downloads;
• download from YouTube (not supported);
• share content you don't have the right to share.

Protected and unsupported content

When a website protects its media, Dx shows that it is not supported and does nothing further. Some websites change often; Dx cannot guarantee that every page or file can be detected or downloaded.

Your files

Files you process with Dx Tools stay on your device and remain yours. Keep a copy of important files: conversions are done by your browser and the result may differ from the original (for example, layout in converted Office documents).

Free and Pro

Dx is free to use. When Dx Pro is available, the free version includes 2 downloads and 2 tool uses per day, and processes up to 5 files at once. Dx Pro removes the daily limits and adds batch downloads and bulk processing.

Dx Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription, or as a limited one-time Founder Lifetime license:

Subscriptions and payments

Payments will be processed by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record and may apply its own terms and taxes. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal and Pro stays active until the end of the paid period. A Founder Lifetime license gives Pro for the life of the product without renewal. A license refunded or charged back is deactivated. Refunds follow our Refund Policy (14 days on the first purchase). A license is for your own use and may not be resold or shared publicly.

Limits of browser processing

Everything runs in your browser, so very large files can be slow or fail if your device runs out of memory. Streams and media files are limited to about 2 GB. Keep the tab open while a download or conversion is running.

No warranty

Dx is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dx is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, or for how you use the content you download. If you are not satisfied, you can stop using Dx at any time.

Changes

Dx may update these terms as the product evolves. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continuing to use Dx after a change means you accept the updated terms.
